The City of Madison in partnership with the Urban League will be transforming the former Griff’s restaurant into Madison’s first neighborhood employment center.
We need your input to help us plan!

This will be the the third in the series of community input sessions. City of Madison staff and architects from Dorschner Associates will be present the floor plan concept based on the feedback provided at the previous sessions. We will also ask for your feedback on color and material concepts.

In addition to this discussion about the facility renovation:

(1) Urban League staff will share information about upcoming training programs.

(2) Briarpatch will present information and conduct enrollment for their Teen Job Center program which they will offering at the temporary employment center at 658 S. Gammon Rd. (BEGINS AT 4:30 PM)

(3) Learning for Kicks will give a brief demonstration of the new martial arts program for youth that will be offered at The Crossings later this month (BEGINS 6:00 PM)

PARKING NOTE: Parking on The Crossings property is for residents only. Parking will be available across the street at the Elver Park Neighborhood Center and street parking is available on Morraine View Park.
