Plant Exchange

Picture

This is NOT A SALE.  All plants are joyfully given and freely received.  One gardener's invasive pest is another heart's desire.  Annuals, perennials, vegetables, shrubs, trees, and native plants all welcome and encouraged.  Most plant exchange events have a one-to-one ratio for giving/taking.  There is no one-to-one ratio, residents are able to drop off without taking anything.

Please be respectful and do not take all of one plant thereby not leaving any for others.

This event is open to all residents!  Whether you are just beginning to garden or have plentiful to share, we encourage you to come.  This is a wonderful opportunity to socialize and meet new or reacquainted with new garden enthusiasts.

Any hostile invasive plants will be removed - hence the social interactions.  Experienced gardeners will be available to help answer any questions.  Feel free to drop off labeled plants in advanced starting Friday, May 20 if you're unable to attend however have plants you wish to re-home or share.  Do you need garden pots for your divisions?  Stop by Steve's house at 4203 Jerome Street.  Pots are located in his driveway.

Dates and Times:  Saturday May 21 from 8 to noon

Location:  207 Morningside Avenue

Any plants leftover will be donated or re-homed (e.g. Lake Edge Park).
