Earth Day Celebration

This year's Earth Day Celebration was held on Saturday, April 23 from 9 to 11AM.  Approximately a dozen neighborhood residents, LENA board members, and members of the Lake Edge UCC green team participated.  Collectively, we collected and removed yard debris, weeded, picked up litter, and laid mulch around the two prominent signs at the Lake Edge Park.  It was a beautiful and cool morning where participants were offered hot cocoa and donuts to refuel as needed.
